Former ‘Daredevil’ Refuses To Work With Marvel Again Over Boss’ Controversial Past

Former ‘Daredevil’ Refuses To Work With Marvel Again Over Boss’ Controversial Past

Steven S. DeKnight, the former showrunner for Netflix’s Daredevil and current Marvel Comics author, has announced that he will end all ties to Marvel until the controversial Editor-in Chief addresses his past.

It was recently revealed that Marvel Comics’ editor C.B. Cebulski used to pretend to be Japanese to continue writing books under a different title.

Cebulski, who is a white man, used to write under the pseudo Japanese name Akira Yoshida. He worked on a variety of major Marvel comics, including X-Men and Thor. Cebulski was not content with a pseudonym. He went to great lengths to portray Yoshida, a true Japanese man, in fake interviews where he spoke about his childhood in Japan and how he learned English through comic books.

In 2017, Cebulski was named Marvel’s new Editor in Chief and finally admitted that Yoshida was nothing but a creation.

“I stopped writing under Akira Yoshida’s pseudonym after about one year,” he stated in a statement that he made at the time. It wasn’t transparent but it taught me a lot more about writing, communication, and pressure. It was a young, naive time and I still had much to learn. This is now over, and I am Marvel’s new Editor in Chief. I am thrilled to share my Marvel experiences with the up-and-coming talent across the globe.

This has been known for many years, but the question of Cebulski being Yoshida’s actor has recently been brought up by critics.

DeKnight replied to the outcry on Twitter by confirming that he will not be working with Marvel in the future. “I cannot in good conscience accept any further work until this is resolved.” He wrote, “I hope other creatives follow suit.”

In a separate tweet, he added that Cebulski’s history had just been brought to his attention.

You remember the part in Avengers Endgame when Black Widow tells Hawkeye there is a chance that the team can bring everyone back? Clint turns to her and says, “Don’t give us hope.” Yes, I felt that way when I wrote about the rumour of Daredevil returning to Disney+.

Knight Edge Media has reported that Daniel Ritchman believes Marvel is considering returning to Daredevil on Disney+. The entertainment company is looking at bringing back some of the Defenders cast members as well as some names from the wider Defenders universe, such as Jessica Jones, for a soft reboot.

This means that the Netflix series won’t be canon and that the origins and circumstances of the characters will differ even though they are portrayed by the exact same team. This sounds to me perfect. Charlie Cox would be a great Daredevil actor, and Krysten Ritter would be a wonderful Jessica Jones actress. There would be the possibility for some Defenders bad guys like Jon Bernthal or David Tennant to return as Killgrave.

It was a great casting job for the Netflix series. It was truly a special series, and fans have been asking Marvel to bring the actors back into the Marvel Cinematic Universe. We already know Charlie Cox would love to return, because he recently spoke out about how he could not imagine anyone playing Jones or The Punisher except Ritter and Bernthal.

Let me let you know that this is just a rumour and not a fact. While I would love to see these actors back, we cannot control the situation. That’s up to Disney. If you are reading this, Disney, please sprinkle some topping to bring Daredevil home.

‘Battlefield 2042’ Insider Explains Why The Beta Was So Rough, Warns Of Troubled Development

‘Battlefield 2042’ Insider Explains Why The Beta Was So Rough, Warns Of Troubled Development

Battlefield 2204′s closed beta ended last week. It’s safe to assume that players are still concerned.

There have been many complaints on social media about matchmaking issues, visual glitches and severe lag. Although beta tests aren’t perfect, many people were so stunned by what they saw that they began to question whether DICE or EA’s upcoming shooter will be available for launch on November 19.

This is where trusted Battlefield leaker Tom Henderson, an insider in the Battlefield community, has created a detailed report to provide some insight into Battlefield2042‘s “troubled growth” and “identity crise”.

Henderson accurately reported on nearly every aspect of Battlefield2042in the months prior to its official unveiling. He also addressed many beta concerns in a piece that Gaming Intel wrote.

EA Forum post stated that the divisive open Beta is actually a build that was “several month old”, which implies that many of the issues are already fixed or will be soon.

Henderson heard from at least two regular sources at DICE, that the build we used last week was a September build. He was able to locate the build settings in the beta build. This was just one day before the beta was supposed to launch.

Henderson writes, “This seems to match up with what I have heard for months: That DICE is experiencing major stability problems with builds of the games.”

DICE has been hesitant to release new footage of the game since the Beta. They can’t release new footage of the game because they are unable to.

According to Henderson, many of Battlefield2042‘s problems are due to management figures who “not committed enough”. According to some sources, management has not been able to address development issues that have been raised with them. This could lead to problems that are further down the chain that DICE could have sold earlier.

According to the report, development was further hampered by Activision’s 2019 Call Of Duty Modern Warfarereboot bosses. DICE was then asked to create something similar. It is unclear in which areas Battlefield2042 will, or should, be similar to Infinity Ward’s last Call Of Duty.

“Signs of troubled development in the past few months have been evident. Henderson concluded that the Battlefield 2042 Beta was unmistakable proof.

“Even though the Beta may only be a few months old, it is the result of more than two and a quarter years of development.”

One member of the Battlefield 2204 team pointed out toxic players as the reason studios don’t want to have a conversation with their fans.

The Battlefield2042 beta is now available for all players across all platforms. It features the classic Conquest mode, which can be played by up to 128 players on both new-gen consoles as well as PC. Phil shared his experience, saying that the game exceeded all of his expectations in a short time. “EA and DICE have harnessed cutting edge technology to take Battlefield 2042’s gameplay up to new heights never seen before in this franchise.”

Ben Walke, one the DICE producers, visited Reddit recently to speak with players about the beta and how the team responds to fan feedback. The beta was taken from our main build a few months back, and then you go into hardening mode. He explained that this is where you should focus on bugs and stability, and no additional work should be done.

Players enter the beta and discover new issues which are not yet discovered by the developer. These inform the “launch build”, which is then improved simultaneously. We don’t want the launch build to be stopped, so we need to “cap” the beta branched build at a time.

The beta was sourced at an earlier stage in the game’s development. This means that it will contain bugs and errors. However, that is part of what makes the game what is. While it is understandable to be frustrated about the state of beta, Walke clarified what acceptable ways are available to tell the team what you dislike about the game.

“Day one of beta, and we’re already in territory of people losing jobs.” Ever wonder why there aren’t more developers interacting with industry players? The producer agreed.

Walke stated that feedback is a valid method of giving feedback and that everyone on the team should be open to receiving constructive feedback. “But I am disappointed by the number of personal attacks that I have seen in the first few hours after it went live.”

YouTuber Assigns A Keyblade To Every Single Super Smash Bros. Character

YouTuber Assigns A Keyblade To Every Single Super Smash Bros. Character

YouTubers have carefully chosen the keyblade that corresponds to each Smash Ultimate fighter, in case they are ever able to use one.

It wasn’t a dream. Sora was actually added to Super Smash Bros. Ultimate last Wednesday, after a nearly three-year-long quest to complete the roster. Sora will not be officially added until next week. At that point, you’ll all be able use his iconic keyblade and take on the rest of the roster.

We recommend that you check out the thread and the accompanying video below if you are so excited about Sora arriving that you don’t want to wait. Regular Pat compiled it and included the keyblade that each Smash fighter would use if they were to be able to wield one.

It all started as a long thread on Twitter, which can be found above. This thread includes almost every Smash Ultimate character. Except for Sora, who has a keyblade, Pat searched the Kingdom Hearts universe for the perfect keyblade, looking at everything from color schemes and final smashes in order to make his selections.

Although most people who read the thread agreed with Pat’s decisions, there were some questions. This is why the video. Link was given the dream sword. Pat explained that he used keyblade-adjacent weapons, but this wasn’t as catchy than the title he chose in his thread. The explanations also include that Samus is orange so she gets an orange keyblade. Although it sounds simple, it is actually quite effective.

Pat has given Kirby a keyblade, despite the fact that he cannot inhale Sora in Smash Ultimate and is therefore not qualified to use one. Sora’s keyblade has been replaced with one made of magic, so Kirby can still use his moves and have the Kingdom Hearts characters’ powers and move sets. We may see some of the Kingdom Hearts characters using keyblades in the future, now that Smash and Kingdom Hearts have been confirmed to exist in one universe.

Valve Cancels Ticket Sales for Dota 2’s The International 2021

Valve Cancels Ticket Sales for Dota 2’s The International 2021

Like many other gaming competitions and conventions in 2020 the International Dota 2 annual Esports Championship was delayed indefinitely because of the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. Due to the delay, Dota 2’s The International competition reached over $34million by August 2020.

Due to the lifting COVID-19 lockdown restrictions in July 2021 Valve announced that Dota 2’s The International tournament would be held in Bucharest in October. Tickets for the live audience went on the market in September. Participants would need to be fully vaccinated, and must wear masks throughout the event.

Only a few weeks ago, tickets for The International went on sale. However, Valve has now canceled all ticket sales. The rise in COVID cases in Romania has resulted in new restrictions in Bucharest. Tournament administrators are no longer able to ensure safety and health for both participants and competitors. The International Dota 2 will still take place on October 7. However, there will not be public attendance. Those who purchased tickets already will receive a refund.

While ticket costs will be refunded, cancellations of the public portion The International Dota 2 championships less that a week before event start may cause inconvenience and even loss of money. Many attendees are already in Romania as a result of comments made on social media. Others have booked hotels, bought plane tickets and taken days off work to make arrangements such as pet sitting or house sitting.

The 2021 event, unlike 2020’s cancellation of The International completely, will still be held and fans can view it online. Details about how and where viewers can tune-in are still not available due to the recent cancellation announcement. It seems likely that Dota 2’s The International 2021 will be streamed live on Valve’s Twitch, YouTube channels or both.

The International Dota 2 Championships will have two stages. The group stage will take place from October 7-10. During this time, the participating esports teams are divided into two groups. They will then play in a round-robin format. The top four teams advance to the main event’s top bracket, while the bottom team is eliminated and the rest of the teams are placed in the lower bracket. The main event will be held from October 12-17, after a one-day break. It is not yet clear if all 10 days of The International will be streamed live or just the main event.

Minecraft Player Creates Cover of ‘Still Alive’ From Portal Using Note Blocks

Minecraft Player Creates Cover of ‘Still Alive’ From Portal Using Note Blocks

Minecraft offers a wide range of creative possibilities, including a complete wiring system, hundreds upon blocks, and even music tools. One Minecraft player took the music elements and created a cover of Still Alive by Portal.

The Note Block is one of the many blocks in Minecraft. It can be tuned to particular pitches and will play a note or percussive sound depending on which block it is below. To play complete songs, some composers make large chains of note block blocks.

A Minecraft player named minoan8128 covered the Portal’s iconic ending song, Still Alive. A song cover is made up of hundreds of note blocks linked together in a huge chain. The minecart tracks carry the player, so that the sounds don’t get out of range. The background features detailed dioramas that resemble Portal’s test rooms. Carefully timed falling blocks add an impressive amount to the build and sell the idea of portals working. Banners are cleverly used to create turrets and even small details such as flickering lights and security cameras.

Minecraft is known for its dedication to projects. Some, such as Half-Life 2, took over a decade. Minoan8128 joked that the Still Alive cover took “approximately 1 pandemic” to make. While the composition is very similar to the original, it retains its own style and visuals help keep the Portal aesthetic in the forefront.

Although the song cover is amazing on its own, the original poster claims that it was entirely created in vanilla survival Minecraft. It would be an incredible achievement if this claim is true. The large, detailed building in which the majority of the cover is displayed is huge. It also showcases many more construction projects. With the lack of flying and material gathering required for survival, such massive constructions would have been very time-consuming.

Even though spinoffs such as the Minecraft movie’s fate remain uncertain, the community keeps the game alive with creative projects. The current developers also keep the game updated with new features regularly. Minecraft has a lot of potential and fans will continue to support it.

Cheaper Xbox Series X Expansion Drives Are Coming From Seagate

Cheaper Xbox Series X Expansion Drives Are Coming From Seagate

Due to the possibility of multiple upgrades for video games, the next-generation consoles were much anticipated long before their 2020 release. These consoles were generally praised for their faster loading times and higher graphics fidelity. Fans shared one concern, however, other than the price, which is the storage capacity of next-gen consoles. Owners of the Xbox Series S/X may not have to wait any longer to obtain a new expansion drive.

Modern AAA video games require more storage than ever before. The Xbox Series S only has 512GB storage, while the Xbox Series X can store 1TB. This is a problem when games such as Microsoft Flight Simulator or Modern Warfare easily exceed 100GB. Seagate currently offers a 1TB storage drive for the Xbox Series X/S. It fits perfectly into the available storage space on both the consoles. The 1TB Seagate drive provides almost double the storage space for Xbox Series X and takes advantage of next-gen hardware’s loading speeds.

S, it comes with an incredibly hefty price tag of $220 USD ($280 CAD). There are many storage options that are less expensive, like an external HDD, or SDD. However, they will not benefit from the Xbox’s fast loading times. According to a leak, Seagate is soon going to sell a smaller version of its 1TB storage drives. The new 512GB expansion drives have been leaked to retailers. According to an anonymous source who spoke with WindowCentral, the storage drives could also be sold during the holiday period.

A USB Game Drive for Xbox SSD was also revealed in the leak. Users can use it to store their games later. This could theoretically be a quicker solution than redownloading all the games. The USB SSD can be used to transfer the games to the internal SSD.

Although it is not yet known how much the new 512GB expansion drive would cost, it’s likely that it will be less than half the price of the 1TB drive. S another alternative than paying $220 USD for another expansion drive. These solutions offer a promising solution for owners of next-generation Xbox consoles who struggle to store their limited storage space.

The 512GB expansion drive is slightly more expensive than the 1TB drive. The Xbox Series X owners will be happy with the 512GB expansion drive, which has 1TB of storage. However, the Xbox Series S owners who have 512GB internal space might not find it sufficient. As the new Xbox consoles approach their one-year mark, it is possible that cheaper storage options will soon be available.

Atelier Sophie 2 Officially Announced By Koei Tecmo with February 2022 Release

Atelier Sophie 2 Officially Announced By Koei Tecmo with February 2022 Release

Rumours about Atelier Sophie receiving a sequel have been floating around the fanbase for a while, but they gained credibility after the game was ported over to the Switch at beginning of this year. It was also rated for Australian audiences earlier in the month. Many Atelier games have been ported as digital games to the Switch since the original 2015 release of the game, including the Atelier Mysterious Trilogy which includes Atelier Sophie. A sequel has been confirmed.
The Atelier franchise keeps the same beloved art style as the original Atelier Sophie, but with high-quality graphics. The RPG elements, as well as the core mechanics for creating alchemical synthesis and gathering material, are all still the same. The trailer below shows some elements returning with minor changes. Similar to Atelier Ryza 2, players will have a wider world for collecting material, fighting monsters, or launching character combination attacks.

As they travel to Sophie’s home, Plachta and Sophie discover a tree that is identical to the one Plachta had hoped for. The pair are drawn into a strange vortex when they look closer. Sophie wakes up alone and hears about Plachta, an alchemist who lives nearby. Sophie doesn’t recognize Plachta, despite her name being the exact same. This mysterious story unfolds in the new Atelier game as Sophie searches for her friend. She meets new friends along the way and creates new synthesis.

Common turn-based elements will be found alongside an updated system. They will be able to start battles immediately after their initial encounter. This is a first for the series. A pair of three-man battle parties has been added, which allows for multi-linked turn-based battles between two teams. This allows gamers to use a wide range of combat strategies to defeat their enemies.

There are many mechanic-based updates in the new game to look forward to. Fans speculate that Sophie’s success with Atelier Ryza 2 may be responsible for her own sequel, as sequels are very rare in the franchise. Atelier Sophie received one of the highest-performing franchise receptions at the time of its release. It is not surprising that her story will continue, despite the seven years gap.

NIS America has pre-orders available for the Limited Edition set. It includes an Atelier book, background music and a fabric poster. A keychain for Sophie’s whale necklace is included as well as a code to download Sophie’s “My New Look” costume and a collector’s set. Fans should not be disappointed if they get a different edition.

Metal Gear Solid 5 Quiet Actress Working on New Game Vengeance is Mine

Metal Gear Solid 5 Quiet Actress Working on New Game Vengeance is Mine

Metal Gear Solid is filled with memorable characters that are brought to life by talented individuals. Quiet is from Metal Gear Solid 5 – The Phantom Pain. Now, Stefanie Joosten will be the creative director for a new mech combat video game titled Vengeance Is Mine.
Joosten, who almost played the role of Fragile in Death Stranding’s, recently announced the new game through a Twitter video. She briefly described Vengeance Is Mine as a game that blends genres, themes, and ingeniously innovates on industry standards, as well as being able to describe it as a game that fuses genres and themes in surprising ways.

According to the official blurb Vengeance is mine tells the story about Gabriel Jaeger who is executed by three time travelers traveling to 1664 to find an old piece technology that will give them a terrible power. Charles Jaeger uses technology to activate Deacon, an abandoned military facility buried beneath the streets of New Amsterdam. This is a plot that would be right at home in Metal Gear Solid. The people are then able to rally around Robert Wright, their spiritual leader “beyond time and space.” Gabriel Jaeger survives his execution but prepares to exact his revenge with a prototype HYDRA suit. This is shown during the video.

110 Industries will publish Vengeance is Mine. It will feature a time manipulation mechanic similar to some action games’ bullet-time functions. It will allow players to adjust combos or cheat death, speed up or slow down time, and even readjust their timing. Joosten, a Metal Gear veteran, says that the title is more than a game. This may be because she borrowed some ideas from Hideo Kojima’s famously creative and bizarre book.

At the time of writing, Vengeance is Mine’s announcement has elicited excitement from Joosten’s fans. One Twitter user stated that Joosten’s presence was enough for them to be excited about the game. This may be a reflection of how Hideo Kojima’s followers feel about him. Joosten was greeted with many congratulatory messages. Another fan immediately promised to play the game, and another reported that Vengeance is Mine would be a great learning experience.
