Ubisoft adds 60 FPS support to Assassin’s Creed origins soon

Ubisoft has confirmed that it is working on a 60 fps update to Assassin’s Creed Origins. Ubisoft announced the change in a short reply to a December 21 post. Ubisoft said that it is not yet clear when the change might occur. It was also stated that the Ubisoft dev team was “looking into” the feature. This makes it seem like we will have to wait a while.

Ubisoft adds 60 FPS support to Assassin’s Creed origins soon

Assassin’s Creed Origins, the first title released following the Ubisoft series’ reboot, emphasized an action-oriented open-world approach and not stealth-based missions. This new update could represent Ubisoft’s strategy in polishing older Assassin’s Creed entries for next-generation consoles. However, there is no indication yet whether it is an exclusive platform update.

We’ll need to wait until the patch’s release to see if Assassin’s Creed’s performance will improve and on which platform.

The developers are working on a Splinter cell remake for current-gen consoles. Ubisoft plans to make it as innovative as the original PlayStation 2 and Xbox 3, but with many modern enhancements.
