Xbox Boss Loves Dune More Than Star Wars Or Lord of the Rings

Phil Spencer, the head of Xbox, said that he is more of an Xbox DUNE fan than Star Wars and Lord of the Rings. Microsoft’s Executive Vice President for Gaming has been leading the Xbox operation for seven years. Spencer has led the creation and release of the new Xbox Series X, S, and the launch of the Xbox Game Pass.

Both the Xbox Series X and Series S continue to sell at a faster rate than any other Xbox. This means that more people can enjoy Spencer’s work. The Xbox Game Pass allows players to play high-profile titles the day they are released. Both versions can be used together. You can play a variety of games, including indie titles and all the Xbox flagship series such Halo and Gears of War. While Xbox Game Pass has games for those who wish them, Spencer wants the Xbox to be the central hub of entertainment in the home.

Every Xbox is included with most streaming apps, such as Netflix, Hulu, Youtube, and HBO Max. In a recent interview with Q, Phil Spencer said that Denis Villeneuve’s DUNE was released on HBO Max. He is excited about the film adaptation of one of his favorite series. Specter noted that DUNE resonated with him more than sci-fi and fantasy giants such as The Lord Of The Rings and Star Wars. Spencer understood that Xbox had to be made for gamers. However, he also needed to create a device that could allow him to view DUNE (2021).

A DUNE title may be released on the Xbox, as the Head of Xbox is a massive fan of the DUNEseries. Xbox has a long history of creating huge sci-fi franchises, although nothing has been announced. The Halo Infinite is the latest installment in the Halo series. Players can join the multiplayer servers to mark the 20th anniversary.

Fans will want more of the rich and detailed series after the success of DUNE. Phil Spencer is Head of Xbox Phil Spencer. Video games that are based on sci-fi movies have enjoyed both high sales and critical acclaim. Mad Max, Assassin’s Creed Origins are two examples of games showing gamers can have adventures in huge deserts. However, riding a sandworm is an experience that gamers have yet to enjoy.

In a recent interview, Phil Spencer, Head of Xbox, confirmed that The Elder Scrolls VI is an Xbox exclusive. However, he said the move was not meant to penalize players on other platforms such as PlayStation. Many questions remain about the purchase of Microsoft ZeniMax Media, particularly regarding the platform exclusivity for Bethesda Softworks titles.

At Bethesda and Xbox’s joint E3 2021 press event, Phil Spencer and Co. stopped some questions in their tracks. Starfield finally got release details. S platforms. It is not likely that a PlayStation version will be available. Microsoft confirmed that Arkane Studios’ Redfall would launch similarly as an Xbox exclusive in summer 2022. Are there any other games Bethesda Softworks is planning to release for Xbox and PC only? The yet mysterious Elder Scrolls is one example of such a project.

Phil Spencer spoke to GQ Magazine and hinted that The Elder Scrolls6 would eventually launch on Xbox and PC. He said that this would strengthen the Xbox experience along with Game Pass and Xbox Live. However, Exclusivity does not mean that it will replace PlayStation. Spencer said Q.

“It’s not about punishing other platforms, as I believe that all platforms have the potential to continue growing. To be on Xbox, we must be able bring all of our assets. That would also be true when I consider Elder Scrolls VI. This would also hold true for any of our franchises.

While insiders had previously claimed Elder Scrolls 6 would be an Xbox exclusive, Phil Spencer’s remarks to Q are the first time someone from Xbox has confirmed this. The list of Bethesda Softworks titles released across PlayStation hardware is likely to continue to shrink.

At E3 2018, Bethesda presented The Elder Scrolls6, the same event Starfield made its debut. Although both titles were described years away from release, Starfield was always expected to be on store shelves before the next Elder Scrolls title. According to Bethesda Game Studios EP Todd Howard, there is reason to believe that the latter won’t be released for at least three to five more years.
