DIABLO 4 AND OVERWATCH 2 HAVE BEEN DELAYED, MAYBE TO 2023.

Activision Blizzard was the victim of controversy

It is safe to say that Activision Blizzard owns some of the most popular and popular games. Gamers aren’t losing their interest despite all the controversies surrounding the company’s business decisions. Nevertheless, the company was affected by the departure of many key employees who were working on large projects over the past year to seek better opportunities. Diablo4 and Watch 2 lost directors. Jen Oneal, one of the company’s leaders, has also left.

The team announced that the games would be released later than originally planned. This justified the need to create a post-release strategy. It’s likely that Diablo4 and Watch were delayed to 2023, considering they didn’t have an official release date. Mike Ybarra is now the company’s owner. He also has a recent controversy to his name as he sold World of Warcraft boosters in real money.

MARVEL’S GUARDIANS of THE GALAXY BREAKS INTO UK’S TOP THREE

This game was a pleasant surprise!

After some disappointing Marvel games , there was hope for Marvel Guardians of the Galaxy. It was a game where you could only manage one member of the team. The trailers and pre-release videos were unimpressive and choppy. The end product isn’t as disappointing as some people thought and it is everything that Marvel fans expected. Its combination of quality and low expectations made it a surprise hit that landed it in second place in the UK Boxed Charts its first week.

The PlayStation 5 game has an impressive 81 score on Metacritic. This contrasts with Square’s Marvel’s Avengers, which continues to disappoint audiences with its poor live-service business practices as well as underwhelming gameplay. Check out our original coverage for more information about The Guardians and UK charts.

NETFLIX HAS STARTED ITS OWN GAMES STREAMING SERVICES

Although the current market is small, there are many opportunities.

Since Netflix has known for some time that they want to be in the lucrative gaming market, it has been exploring adding games to existing subscriptions. They finally achieved it, though it was smaller than most expected. The game streaming service is only available for Android users at the moment. Subscribers will have access to 5 games that they can stream or download to their android tablets and phones.

These are Stranger Things 1984 (also Bonus XP), Stranger Things 3 (also Bonus XP), Shooting Hoops, Frosty Pop), Card Blast and Teeter Up (also Frosty Pop). Netflix claims that they are only just getting started. They are “excited to improve their mobile gaming experience” and “adding to their entertainment over the coming months”. It will be interesting for us to see how they scale up the service and whether it will continue to be part of their regular subscription. You can find more information at our original news coverage.

HYRULE WARRIORS – AGE OF CALAMITY DLC2 HAS BEEN UNLEASHED

As if this game weren’t already huge enough

Hyrule Warriors Age of Calamity DLC wave 2 is finally available on the Nintendo Switch. Now players can jump into the action and take on new stages like Lanayru Road or the Coliseum. These were the locations first seen in Breath of Wild.

Wave 2 DLC adds new missions such as “Battle for Kakariko Village”, and “Battle for Goponga Village”. To get both waves, the season pass costs $19.99. You will also receive the Prototype Ancient Sword with your purchase. You can also use an arsenal of ancient technology with the Hyrule Warriors Age of Calamity wave 2 DLC. As Robbie and Purah, you will be fighting against hordes o’ bad guys in Hyrule. Check out our original news coverage for the complete trailer and additional information about the DLC.

FORZA HORIZON 5, EARLY REVIEWS CALLED IT ONE THE BEST GAMES OF 2021

Since the very first trailer, this was expected.

You probably saw it coming if you have seen the pre-release footage Forza Horizon 5.. The game promised to improve on Forza Horizon4 in almost every way. Even getting the visuals closer to photo-realistic. Today’s review embargo was lifted and the sentiment is shared by many outlets who were able to get an early copy. The game currently has 60 reviews, and is currently sitting at a 90+ rating on Metacritic, making it one the most highly-scored games in 2021.

It’s amazing that the game will be made available on Xbox Game Pass from day one, which is bound to bring in a lot of new subscribers to this already fantastic service with so many great games. If the trailer shows that Halo Infinite may also live up to fan expectations, this could make it a great year for Xbox. They’ll hopefully bring their best in the next year.
