“Ghost Recon Breakpoint” Gets A Completely New Campaign

Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Breakpoint wasn’t a huge success. The action shooter was released in 2019 to mixed reviews and quickly lost favor with other FPSs. Ubisoft isn’t giving up and has given the game another chance with a brand new campaign mode.

PCGamesN reported that Ghost Recon Breakpoint will be receiving a major update, Operation Motherland. After the main mission’s results, all manner of factions will attempt to take control of Aurora. You will be part of the Ghost Squad, which is tasked with helping Haruhi Ito’s Outcasts clear the land from these hostile forces.

Conquest Mode in the new campaign splits the island into multiple areas with a lieutenant. These areas will be the focus of the gameplay, which will gradually but surely eliminate the enemy presence on the island. This includes fewer enemy patrols and the elimination of drones.

There are factions on the island that are controlled by different countries, and the Bodarks have returned. The Bodarks, which are essentially Russian counterparts to the CIA’s Ghosts, is essentially Russian counterparts. You’ll find five variations of soldiers, new tech, and new guns from them.

The campaign is not the only change. There are also changes to the game’s overall gameplay like increasing the Maximum XP level to 99 instead of 30. All of it is quite impressive. Many people haven’t played the Ghost Recon Breakpoint, but this might encourage some to do so. Ubisoft is releasing more content to a game that is less popular than usual. It’s interesting at the very least.
