Black Adam Teaser Trailer: First Look At Dwayne Johnson’s DC Hero’s Powers
The Black Adam teaser trailer has been released. Dwayne Johnson was initially set to portray Black Adam in the first Shazam movie. However, early in the development process, it was decided that the two characters would be leading their films. Although Asher Angel and Zachary Levi made their debuts in Shazam! 2019, Johnson’s Black Adam movie will not be released until July 2022. Jaume Collett-Serra will direct the film, having worked alongside Johnson on Disney’s summer blockbuster Jungle Cruise.
Johnson is joined by cast members who play heroes of the Justice Society of America, such as Noah Centineo (Atom Smasher), Aldis Hodge (Hawkman), Quintessa Swindell as Cyclone and Sarah Shahi (Adrianna Tomaz aka Isis) and Pierce Brosnan (“Doctor Fate”). The movie has not revealed much beyond a few teases, including a glimpse at Johnson’s Black Adam costume, covered in some cloak. A new look at Black Adam has been released.
Here are the steps to watching every Pirates Of The Caribbean film in chronological order. Hollywood believed pirate movies were harmful to the box-office before the original Pirates Of The Caribbean was a huge commercial success with Johnny Depp, Orlando Bloom, Keira Knightly starring. The movies were treated with disdain, just as superhero movies before the MCU gained a significant foothold. Recent high-profile failures such as Cutthroat Island or Disney’s animated adventure Treasure Planet only reinforced the notion. The faith in Pirates Of The Caribbean was so low that an alternative, straight-to-video movie starring Christopher Walken playing Jack Sparrow was being considered.
Disney took a chance and made the movie a success. There were many sequels. The first Pirates Of The Caribbean was a huge success due to its clever script, Gore Verbinski’s confident direction, and the memorable score by Hans Zimmer and Klaus Badelt. Four sequels to the original film have been released. Johnny Depp’s Captain Jack Sparrow has remained a constant throughout the movie and helped the franchise reach nearly $5 billion. Since Amber Heard’s allegations against Depp, the franchise has had trouble finding a way forward. It was announced that Disney would produce a new Pirates of the Caribbean spinoff in 2020 with Margot Robbie as the lead, but there are no details about the story.
The Pirates Of The Caribbean films don’t have any numbering system in the titles. This can make it difficult for viewers to remember the correct order to view the Pirates Of The Caribbean movies. This is the chronology of the series.
Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse Of The Black Pearl
Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man’s Chest (2006)
Pirates of the Caribbean: At World’s End (2006)
Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides (2011)
Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales 2017
Johnny Depp’s Jack Sparrow may be the unifying factor between the movies, but the first three films were centered on the love story between Keira Knightley and Orlando Bloom’s Will. Pirates Of The Caribbean Dead Man’s Chest was shot back-to-back. Both movies received mixed reviews due to their long-running times and overabundance in subplots.
For the fourth Pirates Of The Caribbean: On Stranger Tides, neither Bloom nor Knightley returned. Instead, there was a romantic subplot between Syrena the mermaid and Philip. Although the story was about the search for the Fountain of Youth and received mixed reviews, it was still a huge success. Pirates Of The Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales, the latest installment, features a ghost from Jack’s past, played by Javier Bardem, returning to exact revenge. A sixth film, which Joachim Ronning (Dead Men Tell No Tales’ co-director) will direct and star Karen Gillan, is being planned in addition to the Margot Robbie Pirates Of The Caribbean sequel.
